Well, aside from the release of our newest pedal, the HOP HED FUZZTONE
we've become quite popular over at Shrapnel Records. Shrapnel has
added Cat's-Eye pedals to the arsenal of gear available to the artists
who record for the label.

In fact, Cat's-Eye pedals made such an impression on Mike Varney,
that he made sure Michael Lee Firkins was aware of Cat's-Eye pedals
by giving him a set of fuzzes to work with before he started overdubbing
solos for his new album.

Mike also recommended them to several of his other friends: Jake E. Lee
(Ozzy, Badlands; Jake uses Cat's-Eye pedals on his latest CD "Retraced"),
Jon Levin (Dokken), Greg Howe (Michael Jackson, 'N Sync, etc), John 5 (Marilyn Manson), John just confirmed that he used a Cat's-Eye fuzz on a cut he recently recorded for his new album and Tracii Guns (L.A. Guns, Brides of Destruction) Tracii uses Cat's-Eye pedals on the latest Brides of Destruction album
"Runaway Brides".

LABOUR OF LOVE CD

The Labour of Love CD is an All-Star cancer benefit CD, put together by Aaron Duke of 34 West Records. It benefits Ricky Parent (Drummer from E'nuff Z'nuff) and The American Cancer Society. Ricky was recently diagnosed with cancer, and like alot of Americans, doesn't have health insurance. Portions of the proceeds from the sale of the CD will help fund Ricky's treatment and also go to The American Cancer Society.

It's a great record, and has a bit of something for everyone and features songs and performances by: Jeff Pilson (Dio, Dokken, Foreigner), Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Joe Becker, Liberty n' Justice, E'nuff Z'nuff, Trixter, Best of Seven, Wade Williams, Thornbirds (featuring Russ Parish and Jeff Duncan), Jamie Rowe, Matt Fig, 40ft Ringo, R.I.P.E., Crunchy, Crash Kelly, and Dry. It also features former and current members of: Journey, The Tubes, Europe, Atomic Punks, Metal Skool, Rob Halford's FIGHT, Odin, Armored Saint and Galactic Cowboys.
